A man and a woman have been arrested following an alleged assault in Northfleet.

Police and ambulance crews were called to Wallis Park just before 9.30pm last Wednesday, where another man and woman were said to have been assaulted.

Both victims were treated for head and facial injuries and taken to hospital to continue treatment before being released.

The suspects, a 24-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman, both from Northfleet, have been bailed until Friday, September 2 while officers continue their inquiries.
