Gravesend and Dartford will lose 37 jobs after the announcement that two discount stores are set to close.

Poundworld has revealed that it will be closing its stores in the area at the end of next week.

Administrators of the company have said that they will be closing 78 stores across the country, on either Thursday 26 July or Sunday 29 July, which will result in more than 900 redundancies.
