Kent Police investigate after a number of vehicles damaged in Gravesend

Multiple cars have been damaged after yobs ran riot through a Kent town.

The vandals are understood to have smashed the windscreens of a number of vehicles in Gravesend last night.

Police were called to East Milton Road, Alexandra Road, Raphael Road and Mark Lane after reports of damage to parked cars in the streets.

A number of residents have taken to social media to report damage to vehicles in their roads.

Officers are appealing for anyone with CCTV or doorbell camera footage of the incidents to come forward.

A police spokesperson said: “Kent Police was called at 1.30am on Saturday 27 July 2024 to reports of three people having caused criminal damage to 11 vehicles in Milton Road, Alexandra Road, Mark Lane, and Raphael Road, Gravesend.

“The suspects left the area on foot prior to officers’ arrival and an investigation is underway to identify the parties involved as well as the circumstances surrounding the incidents.

“Anyone with information, private CCTV, or doorbell or dashcam footage, is asked to contact Kent Police on 01474 366149, quoting reference 46/124357/24.”
