Woman 'assaulted with bottle' in Khartoum Place, Gravesend

A woman was taken to hospital after being reportedly hit over the head with a bottle.

Police received reports that the woman was assaulted by another woman in fort gardens off Khartoum Place, Gravesend, on Sunday.

Officers headed to the scene at around 6.50pm and the victim was taken to hospital for treatment.

Police spokesman James Walker said: "At present no arrests have been made and inquiries are ongoing."
