A woman was taken to hospital after a three-car crash.

The accident took place on the A227 Gravesend Road near Vigo, Gravesend.

One of the cars reportedly left the road after the crash, and the road was closed in both directions.

Police, paramedics and fire crews attended the scene yesterday at 2.35pm.

Several people were treated for minor injuries and one woman was taken to a local hospital.

No life-changing injuries were reported.
