There could be 15-20mm of rain in places in less than an hour and it could be accompanied by lightning, hail and strong winds.

The Met Office has warned there may be some localised disruption and to expect spray and sudden flooding which could lead to difficult driving conditions and some road closures.

There is also a slight chance that power cuts could occur and other services to some homes and businesses could be lost.
