A YOUNG man has died after a collision between a motorbike and a car.

The motorcyclist, in his 20s, and his male passenger were both seriously injured and taken to hospital but the motorcyclist later died.

The car driver was unhurt.

The incident happened at 7.40pm in Thong Lane, Gravesend, on Saturday night and police closed the road for some hours as they investigated the scene.
