Customers headed to the reopening of an Aldi supermarket in Northfleet.
The superstore on London Road, reopened last Wednesday to the public following some refurbishment, due to a £300 million investment across the United Kingdom to improve customer convenience and shopping experience.
Aldi received feedback from over 50,000 customers about their stores and worked with the feedback to improve their supermarkets.
The new store layout allows a more customer-focused layout allows for the products customers know and love to be found more easily, while browsing new ranges.
New improvements to the Northfleet store will see better freezers and chillers, an increase in space for fresh produce, relocation of the bakery section, a new health and beauty section as well as the beer, wine and spirits being relocated.
Aldi employs 36 people from the Gravesend community and it's refurbishment has meant to addition of two more jobs.
