A teenager was reportedly threatened by two boys who had weapons.

Armed police officers were called out to Bourne Road, Gravesend, at 7.59pm yesterday.

Officers carried out a search of the local area assisted by the National Police Air Service helicopter, but the suspects were not located.

It is not yet known what type of weapons the boys were believed to be carrying.

Investigations are ongoing and Kent Police is pursuing several lines of inquiry.
