Arson attack causes £500,000 damage

LORRIES worth in excess of £500,000 were damaged in an arson attack in a Kent town.

The night duty security at the scene in Wharf Road, Gravesend, heard a loud bang and when he came out of his office he saw a number of lorries on fire.

Around eight lorries were damaged in the attack, which took place between 10pm and 10.30pm on Saturday.
