A BOY of four whose bravery and quick thinking saved the life of his mother is to receive a special medal.
Lee Hudson took control when his mother, Maria, suffered an epileptic fit at their home in Kitchener Avenue, Gravesend.
The plucky youngster realised she was choking so he held her tongue, put a pillow under her head and dialled 999. He even took care of his eight-month-old brother Scott, while he waited for the police to arrive.
Maria Hudson said: "I had been feeling unwell and had had a fit earlier in the day. I told Lee what to do if I fell over again, and he did exactly that. I still can't believe he did it. I'm so proud of him.
"He even checked with the police that they were who they said before he opened the door as he knows not to open the door to strangers."
Lee, a pupil at Whitehill Infants School in Gravesend, said: "I love my mummy with all my heart. She is the bestest mum in the world."
The Epilepsy Association is to present Lee with its gold medal.
