Motorists are being warned to plan their journeys due to a series of overnight bridge closures.
National Highways is carrying out repairs and maintenance work to the crossing which goes over the A2 at Pepper Hill, in Hall Road, in Northfleet.
This includes replacing the expansion joints and waterproofing the bridge.
To ensure work can be carried out safely, the road will have a series of overnight closures between 8pm and 6am.
It will be shut from Monday, July 22 for four nights, Monday, August 5 for five nights and Monday, August 12 for five nights.
There will also be an extended full closure from 8pm on Friday, July 26, to 6am on Wednesday, July 31.
During this time the coast-bound entry and exit slip roads at Pepper Hill will be shut from 8pm to 6am on Friday, July 26 and Monday, July 29.
There will be diversions in place throughout the closures.
Traffic heading south over Hall Road Bridge will be diverted down the A2 coastbound carriageway to turn around at the next junction and exit at Pepper Hill junction.
Motorists heading in the other direction will be diverted up the A2 Londonbound carriageway to turn around at the next junction and exit at Pepper Hill junction.
While the coastbound exit slip road is shut drivers will be asked to use the next junction on the A2 and then onto Wrotham Road, Coldharbour Road and Hall Road.
The same diversion is in reverse for the entry slip road closure.
