Brands Hatch has revealed a programme of 13 headline events for the 2011 motorsport season, featuring a hat-trick of British Superbike meetings and three major international championships.
Two wheel fans can enjoy more track action from the UK’s premier domestic bike championship next year, as the MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship will visit the Kent circuit on three occasions – including a four day season opening event over Easter weekend.
BSB will also take to the Grand Prix circuit during August, whilst the title-deciding round will return to Brands Hatch for the first time since 2008 in October.
Brands Hatch will host three major international car championships in 2010, beginning with a double headline event from the FIA Formula 2 Championship and the Spanish-based International GT Open Series in July.
The DTM German Touring Cars will also visit Kent for the championship’s only UK round at the beginning of September.
After enjoying record crowds during its visit to the south east in 2010, the British Touring Car Championship will enjoy a brace of visits to Brands Hatch in 2011, including its season opener in early April. The BTCC will return to Kent in October for a second showdown on the Grand Prix circuit.
2011 will feature the return of several calendar favourites, such as the opening and closing rounds of the 2011 Delphi British Truck Racing Championship and two major historic race meetings: the Masters Festival over late May Bank Holiday and the HSCC Superprix in June.
The British F3 and GT Championships will roar into Kent in June.
Mike Groves, Brands Hatch circuit manager, said: “The Brands Hatch team has worked hard to produce an outstanding calendar of motorsport and we hope many fans will join us for these events next season."
Tickets for 2011 major events are now on sale at 2010 prices until Christmas, and Brands Hatch owners MotorSport Vision are also offering spectators the chance to make significant savings by purchasing a season pass for £195.
