Cannabis, cash and phones seized after teenagers arrested in Havelock Road, Gravesend

A routine police patrol ended with a haul of cash, phones and suspected cannabis being seized.

Officers arrested two suspected drug dealers when they began to follow them walking down Old Road West in Gravesend.

The two teenagers were stopped and searched in Havelock Road before being taken into custody for a further search.

Officers discovered cash and mobile phones believed to be being used to supply drugs.

They then attended a property in Gravesend, where they seized more items.

The teenagers, aged 16 and 17, were both arrested on suspicion of possessing cannabis with intent to supply.

They have both been released pending further inquiries.
