The four by four driven into a packed nightclub on Saturday night was yesterday evening removed from the venue.
As a 21-year-old man was quizzed by detectives after being arrested on suspicion of attempted murder the Suzuki Vitara was loaded on to the back of a truck and driven away as police officers and members of the public looked on.
The man is accused of driving the vehicle down the alleyway which runs between Blake's nightclub and borough market, in Queen Street, Gravesend, ploughing into a crowd and injuring at least 13 people.
The suspect was released shortly after the incident at 11.45pm.
While police have 24 hours to charge him he remains in custody this morning as he was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Footage from the scene shows the car in the middle of a chequered dance floor surrounded by security and revellers.
