A £330,000 rescue package for 21 of the UK’s most historic and community-minded churches and chapels has been announced by the National Churches Trust.
Holy Family Church in Gravesend is to be given £5,000 from the National Churches Trust Community Grant to help fund new toilets, with baby changing facilities and disabled access.
The Palmer Avenue church was built in 1958 and consecrated in June 1959.
It has an open worship area and a hall attached.
The hall has not been significantly improved since the 1960s.
