Police are appealing for dash-cam footage after cash was taken from the safe of a recently-opened supermarket.
Money was stolen from the Co-op in Talbot Lane, Ebbsfleet, at around 10pm last Sunday.
Two people were inside when they were threatened by balaclava-clad men who entered the shop.
The suspects are described as white men and they are said to have driven away in a black Mercedes C Class.
Officers investigating the robbery have carried out a number of inquiries including the review of CCTV and forensics.
They are now asking for anyone who was in the area at this time and who may have dash-cam footage to get in touch as soon as possible.
It is understood two other vehicles arrived at the shop around the time of the incident and may have witnessed the suspects leaving.
It is not the first time shops and amenities in Kent's new garden city have been targeted.
Two months ago a family were forced to cancel their holiday to Disneyland after their luggage was stolen.
It was taken an hour before they were due to depart from the Spring River Hotel, located in Swanscombe, near the Co-op where the heist took place.
