CCTV footage has been released of a woman police would like to talk to in connection with obtaining property by deception.
A woman went into the Money Shop in New Road, Gravesend, and cashed a cheque in excess of £900 from what was later discovered to be a stolen cheque book.
Police say that cheque book and another one were originally taken from a company in London.
Police have released the footage because it is thought the woman shown can help with their enquiries.
She is described as black, aged 22 and wearing a grey suit.
The incident took place on October 1 last year at 2.50pm.
PC Dave Holmes, the investigating officer, said: "It is believed the same woman may have cashed another of these cheques in Sutton before coming to Gravesend on the same day."
