X Factor winner Joe McElderry is coming to the Woodville.
The singer, who also won ITV’s Pop Star to Opera Star in 2011 and was recently named champion of Channel 4’s skiing contest The Jump, will belt out his hits including number one single The Climb, on May 18.
Joe rose to fame when he won the sixth series of ITV’s The X Factor in 2009, after being mentored by Cheryl Cole.
Speaking about his upcoming Set Your Soul Alive tour, he said: “I’m really looking forward to the tour. The Woodville is a lovely venue and it’ll be great to be back“
Neil Chandler, Woodville manager, added: “Joe McElderry is a true star and we are really looking forward to his return to The Woodville.
"He made a huge impact during our 45th year celebrations and we are delighted to welcome him back. Many people were disappointed not to get tickets last year for his sell out shows, so book early to avoid disappointment.”
Fans are also being offered the chance to meet Joe with a competition on The Woodville’s Facebook page.
Tickets £20 to £25. To book visit www.woodville.co.uk or phone 01474 337774.
