Volunteers at an infant school are running a pre-loved uniform sale to help parents in financial difficulty.
Parents at Riverview Infants School in Gravesend started selling lost property items for £1 or £2.
But now thanks to donations, the volunteers are now selling more than 1,500 items.
Kulvinder Kaur is one of the parents volunteering. She said: "All proceeds we are making are going back into the school charity for children's classroom items and other expenses.
"We have grey trousers, skirts and pinafore dresses from age three to 16 for sale.
"We also have green jumpers, cardigans and sweatshirts from age three to 13 and many more items of clothing including kit for PE.
"This project not only helps parents who already face difficult uncertain times but also stops landfill while helping our school raise funds."
A monthly stall sale is held at the school, but due to lockdown Kulvinder has been arranging socially-distanced appointments at her home for the uniform to be collected.
She added: "Our MP, Adam Holloway, visited our stall during our last event prior to lockdown.
"We have raised over £700 so far in sales and we are sure we will raise more as most children seem to have outgrown their uniforms!"
Kulvinder's son, Jeevan Virk, has also been using his platform to support others.
The nine-year-old Riverview Junior pupil wrote a letter to Boris Johnson asking that all teachers be vaccinated.
Jeevan drew a portrait of Boris and hopes in exchange teachers will be vaccinated so he and his classmates can see school life go back to normal.
The next pre-loved sale is taking place at Riverview Infants School on Friday, April 23.
