Ebbsfleet came from behind at Chester to record their third consecutive Blue Square Premier win on Saturday.
Liam Daish's side once again had Magno Vieira to thank as he scored two in three minutes to secure the points and haul the Fleet further away from the relegation zone.
Basement side Chester had gone 687 minutes without scoring a goal but were in front on the half hour mark when Jack Rea's 25-yard shot crept past the diving Lance Cronin.
But it wasn't long before the Fleet were back in the game when Vieira was on hand to tap in Stefan Bailey's pass on 40 minutes.
And the visitors were ahead just three minutes when Moses Ashikodi found Vieira and he found the net from the edge of the area.
Alex Stavrinou should have made it 3-0 before half-time after Vieira had unselfishly passed up his chance of a hat-trick, but he lifted the ball over the crossbar.
After the break, Ashikodi saw his shot tipped wide by keeper John Danby, while Stavrinou had an effort cleared off the line.
There was some confusion late on when referee Richard Clark initially appeared to point to the penalty spot after Ashikodi had been hauled down - but he then changed his mind and awarded a free-kick on the edge of the box which came to nothing.
