Millbrook Garden Centre, Station Road, Southfleet, has won an award for its Christmas displays

A garden centre is celebrating after its Christmas displays were named the best in the South East.

Millbrook Garden Centre, in Station Road, Southfleet, was praised by The Garden Centre Association for displays which feature penguins, snowmen and reindeer.

The association represents more than 200 garden centres across the country and holds winter conferences and summer workshops for their centres to share tips on customer service and the latest retail initiatives.

Millbrook Garden Centre will now be entered into a national competition for the displays and the winners will be announced later this month.

Tammy Woodhouse, managing director, said: “The team has worked very hard to create some fabulous Christmas displays and I am incredibly proud of what they have achieved.”
