If you fancy walking in a winter wonderland this weekend, head to Windmill Hill in Gravesend.
A lantern parade, ice-skating rink, dancing, carol-singing and craft workshops are just a few of the festive gifts waiting for people to enjoy in the memorial gardens and neighbouring roads.
Christmas on the Hill is part of Gravesham council's free Christmas Everyday programme and the fun starts at midday on Saturday.
Children's gift-making workshops and entertainment will kick-off the activities at The Millers Cottage and The Windmill Tavern pubs, followed by a children's lantern and snow globe workshop in the veteran's hall from 2pm.
There will also be morris dancing, a candle-lighting ceremony in memory of Gravesend youngster Stacey Mowle, choir-singing and music from Black Knights Drum and Bugle Corps in the memorial gardens.
The festivities will culminate with a magical lantern and candle-lit parade led by Father Christmas at 4.30pm, followed by a welcome from Gravesham mayor Cllr Mick Wenban and music from the Gravesend Borough Band.
The entertainment will then continue into the evening with live music performances from StrumBums and The Usual Suspects at the two pubs.
Throughout the day, a vintage bus will transport shoppers from the town centre to Windmill Hill for free.
The Christmas Everyday programme runs throughout December, and began with the Christmas lights switch-on in Community Square.
