DO YOU feel like dancing? Can you shine on stage?
If so make your way to Gravesend’s Woodville Halls on Sunday, September 17, and you could be performing in this year’s pantomime, Beauty and the Beast.
All you need to do to secure a place next to the star of the show, ex-EastEnders heart throb Marc Bannerman, is turn up to the open audition and impress the casting team.
There are three sessions.
The first starting at 9.30am is for tiny dancers. For this audition you must be six or older, no taller than 4ft and a good all round dancer that is especially strong in modern and jazz.
The next hopefuls should arrive at noon. This category, for intermediates, is open to dancers who are between 4ft 1ins and 5ft. To catch the selectors eye you must be a very strong disciplined all rounder who excels in modern and jazz. An excellent stage presence is also required.
Lastly, the senior contenders should be at the halls from 3pm. For this audition you must be over 5ft 1ins, have a bubbly, confident personality and be extremely strong in modern and jazz.
