A woman has to be taken to a London hospital after being knocked off her bike in Gravesend yesterday afternoon.
The woman, 39, was injured after a crash between her bike and a car just before 2pm.
Police and paramedics were called to the scene and treated the woman there before taken her to King’s College Hospital in London.
It is understood the woman suffered hip and back injuries during the collision.
The incident, caught on camera by Gravesend woman Gemma Shaw, happened at a roundabout on Old Road West and its junction with Pelham Road South, in Gravesend, near to the Pelham Arms pub.
Police closed the road for several hours while paramedics tended to the injured cyclist and police carried out investigations.
A spokesman said: "Police was called at 1.53pm to Pelham Road South, Gravesend on Friday 5 May following reports of a collision involving a cyclist and a car.
"The female cyclist was taken to hospital with pelvic injuries.
"The road was re-opened at 3.10pm."
