A woman had to be cut from her car following a crash with another vehicle on the A2 near Bluewater.

Police, ambulance crews and firefighters were called just before 2.30pm, following the accident on the Londonbound carriageway just under the Bean Lane (B255) bridge.

KCC Highways confirmed the three-lane carriageway reopened at 4.15pm.

No serious injuries have been reported.

Police were earlier diverting traffic up the Bean slip road and the blockage was said to be affecting traffic for the M25 and Dartford.
