Two lanes of the A2 were closed after a crash this morning.

The accident involved two vehicles and happened at around 11.15am on the westbound carriageway between Gravesend and Dartford.

Lanes one and two were closed and have since been reopened, but traffic was predicted to be affected by delays until 2pm.

Police say no one was injured and lane closures were in place to enable recovery of the vehicles.
