A dog walker was left with a broken wrist after being knocked down by an off-road motorbike in a Kent village yesterday evening.
The woman was in North Field, near Milestone Academy on Ash Road, when she became aware of a person riding a motorcycle.
At around 6.15pm the rider entered the field and headed towards the woman and her dog, catching the lead and throwing the owner to the ground. She was taken to hospital and treated for her injuries.
The bike was described as being extremely loud and had blue and white markings. It is believed it may be missing registration plates and the rider was a white teenage boy, possibly aged between 15 and 17.
Anyone who saw the collision or has information which may assist police enquiries is asked to 01622 604100, quoting reference YY/019346/18.
