Ebbsfleet United's wait for a home win goes on after they let a lead slip to fall to a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Fleetwood Town on Saturday.
Fleet are hovering above the Blue Square Bet Premier drop-zone after being undone by former hero Magno Viera (pictured) at Stonebridge Road.
The visitors started brightly and on-loan Charlton centre back Yado Mambo was needed to clear an early Jamie Milligan cross and another defensive header from Mambo was volleyed wide by Gareth Seddon from the edge of the box.
At the other end Alex Stavrinou teed-up Tom Phipp to drag a shot wide but Fleet keeper Preston Edwards was called into action soon after, blocking Seddon's shot after Viera had gotten the better of Mambo.
Calum Willock saw a shot well saved by Scott Davies on the break while Michael West fired wide when unmarked but just as it seemed the half would end goalless, Willock spun and fired low past Davies to put the hosts ahead.
The visitors were sent out early for the second half and they flew out of the blocks after the restart with Viera getting the equaliser, heading home Seddon's cross from the right just four minutes in.
Viera continued to threaten and saw two shots blocked before drawing a save from Edwards, however the Fleet keeper was unable to do anything about the second goal on 69 minutes, the little Brazilian latching onto a quickly-taken free kick before firing home, despite the protests of the hosts who claimed the ball was moving when the free-kick was taken.
With Fleet committing men forward in search of an equaliser, Jamie Vardy added the decisive third goal eight minutes from time as he drilled home from close range after Viera had squared the ball across Edwards' goal.
