Ebbsfleet extended their unbeaten league run to six matches with a creditable 1-1 draw at home to Grimsby.
The high-flying Mariners took a third-minute lead in Saturday's Blue Square Bet Premier clash when Marcus Marshall's strike flew over Fleet keeper Preston Edwards.
The hosts grew into the game with Neil Barrett's close-range header testing James McKeown before the unmarked Phil Walsh wasted a good chance.
Fleet equalised three minutes before half-time with Matt Godden stabbing home Tom Phipp's deflected cross.
On-loan Godden had a drive saved by McKeown early in the second half and while Marshall worked Edwards late on, it was Fleet who had the best chance to pinch all three points.
Godden went round McKeown and looked set to score but the Grimsby keeper recovered before he could find the empty net.
