Fleet cruised to a 3-2 win over Dorchester Town in Blue Square Bet South on Saturday which took them back into the division's top six.
Tom Phipp opened the scoring with a 25-yard dipper over the Town keeper after just five minutes but Dorchester levelled after a break down the left five minutes later with Jay Stockley getting the final touch.
Phipp grabbed his second on 14 minutes to put Fleet back in front and Michael West (pictured) made it 3-1, drilling home on 24 minutes to give the hosts breathing space.
Scott Ginty limped off for Liam Daish's side, being replaced by Ricky Shakes, after appearing to suffer a recurrence of a hamstring injury.
After an uneventful second half the visitors pulled a goal back in the dying second, with Stockley grabbing his second, but it could not prevent Fleet closing the gap on the leading pack, many of whom have played more games than they have.
