Ebbsfleet manager Liam Daish has agreed new deals with seven of last season’s squad following promotion to the Blue Square Premier.

Preston Edwards (pictured), Craig Stone, Paul Lorraine, Tom Phipp, Ram Marwa, Michael West and Clint Easton have all committed themselves to the club for another season.

Daish said: “It’s great to have signed these lads and I’m hopeful and confident there will be more to be added to this list from last season. These are not only decent players they are decent men.”

A list of released players is expected to be announced by the club soon.

Keeper Edwards recently won a call-up to the England C side where he was named man-of-the-match in the game against Portugal last week.

Lorraine captained the Fleet to play-off success in Blue Square South and he has been joined on the squad list for next season by fellow central defender Clint Easton.

Stone switched to full-back for the promotion campaign and Marwa made a great impression, walking off with the players’ player award at the end of the season. Youngsters Phipp and West also played a key role last season.
