Ebbsfleet United manager Liam Daish is adopting a "realistic" attitude to the loss of two more strikers.

Liam Enver-Marum (pictured) is joining League 1 club Stevenage while Ricky Shakes looks set to sign for Kidderminster Harriers, and they follow the departure of Calum Willock to Dover Athletic earlier this month.

"Obviously I am disappointed to lose Liam," Daish said.

"But I am a realist and understand that when Football League clubs come calling for our players we find it hard to keep hold of them.

"I know Liam had options at Conference level but wanted to play for us if he were to remain a Conference player.

"It was the draw of becoming a League 1 player with Stevenage, nothing else."

And Daish added: "I am also resigned to losing Ricky Shakes to Kidderminster Harriers, also for footballing reasons.

"After a meeting with Ricky last week it was clear that the offer of full-time football at Kidderminster and a new challenge really was behind this thinking.

"On a more positive note, Ram Marwa is ahead of schedule in his rehabilitation with his knee injury and Cesc Fakinos is hopefully also coming back for pre-season to prove his fitness."
