Ebbsfleet chairman Jessica McQueen has called for an end to the infighting which is damaging the club’s battle for financial stability.

The Fleet appealed for donations to help save the club after income streams were hit hard by the postponement of recent home fixtures and more than £20,000 has since been raised by MyFootballClub members, Fleet Trust members and supporters affiliated to neither organisation.

But bickering between the various groups has continued and Mrs McQueen, pictured, appealed for the arguments to stop.

She said: "It’s now about people putting their grievances behind them. There’s been loads on the forums recently, which saddens all of us, where they’re tearing each other to pieces.

"It’s time to stop the blame, it’s time to look yourself in the mirror and say ‘do I want the club to still be there? If I do, it’s time I did something about it.’ We are owned by MyFC and regardless of the shortfall of that, we have to make sure we work with them."

Mrs McQueen confirmed Ebbsfleet were not in danger of entering administration but admitted the club had never been in a more acute financial position since she replaced Phil Sonsara as chairman in May 2012.

She said: "We can’t continue planning by the week. Most business plans are 18 months but we’re lucky to plan 18 days. We’ve got to be able to have financial stability at the club, which hasn’t been here for a long while. Otherwise, I don’t know what the future holds."
