Ebbsfleet boss Liam Daish is hoping the weather is kinder to them this weekend so they can get back to business.
Last weekend's trip to Hampton fell foul of the frost and with the leading clubs in Blue Square Bet South already two or three games better off, he doesn't want the fixture situation to become an issue.
"We want to play and keep the momentum going," said Daish (pictured), whose side beat Bromley 4-0 in their last match.
"We don't want a fixture pile-up and we're hoping we get to play this Saturday now. It's difficult when it happens but there isn't anything I can do about it.
"We've had a fixture backlog before and I don't want it to happen again. At the moment it's manageable but if we start doing well in the FA Trophy and if we lose games to the weather, it does become a bit of a slog.
"We want to keep playing and keep things rolling on."
Near-neighbours Thurrock are the visitors to Stonebridge Road this Saturday and although they are currently in a scrap at the bottom of the table, their form is on the up after a change of management.
Daish said: "They've started to pick up and it's going to be a tough game. It's quite local and hopefully the game will be on."
Paul Lorraine (shoulder) is fit to play and Ashley Carew is back from suspension.
