Help raise funds for the Elimination Of Leukaemia Fund and dress up - as the acronym suggests - as an Elf

Help raise funds for the Elimination Of Leukaemia Fund and dress up - as the acronym suggests - as an Elf.

It follows last year’s inaugural run and cycle event which took place at Gravesend’s Cyclopark to fund research into leukaemia.

This year there will be a 10k run, a family 5k run and a scooter dash, and it takes place on October 6 between 10am and noon.

There will also be face painting, stalls, and activities for the whole family.

Fundraising director Sue Gofton, who lives in Meopham, said: “As a Kent-based charity we offer patient-centred support to those living with leukaemia, and their families.

“It was established in 1977 and our funds are predominately directed to Guy’s, King’s and Great Ormond St hospitals.

“We are not a research charity and our ethos is to help patients today and give them hope for tomorrow.”
