First there were excitable elves, then festive jumpers and now Christmas-themed head-boppers will be adorned in a world record bid.
Shoppers, schools, community groups and businesses are invited to gather at 1pm in Community Square, Gravesend, on Friday to set the record for the most people in one place wearing the novelty accessories.
Just turn up, register and don the head-boppers which will be provided free by Gravesham council as part of its Christmas Everyday programme.
Previous attempts have included the largest number of elves gathered in one place, and the greatest number of people wearing festive jumpers.
Entertainment will also include a DJ, dancing, choir-singing and rodeo reindeer.
There may even be a guest appearance from members of the cast of Robin Hood and the Babes in the Wood pantomime at The Woodville.
The seasonal activities continue on Saturday with the Christmas Tree Festival.
Festive and quirkily-decorated trees will be on display in St George's Church, Church Street, and Emmanuel Baptist Church in Windmill Street from 11am to 4pm.
The festival will be opened by Mayor of Gravesham, Cllr Mick Wenban, and prizes awarded for the best dressed trees, which will then be donated to charities and families in need.
