Traffic is clearing and emergency crews were called after a crash on the A2 this morning.

All the vehicles involved are now on the hard shoulder, following the crash near the Cobham/Shorne turn-off for the Inn on the Lane.

Congestion is stretching back to J2 for Strood, and police and ambulance crews are at the scene, but all lanes are now open.

A police spokesman said officers were called just after 7am following the crash involving a lorry and two cars on the London-bound carriageway of the A2 near Cobham.

One person is being treated for an injury that is described as minor.

This incident earlier caused some congestion while vehicles and debris were moved from the carriageway.
