A GoFundMe appeal has been launched to help a family who suffered a devastating blaze in their home just after Christmas.
Nicole Catto from Ebbsfleet said: "Last Wednesday, my family's home went up in flames, destroying the property and their belongings.
Ms Catto's mother, two babies and three teenagers have been forced to find temporary accommodation until their home can be repaired - which may take six months or more.
Worse still, her sister suffered severe burns to her face, hands and feet, as she fought to save her siblings.
Ms Catto said: "She may need skin grafting.
"She very bravely went through the fire and up the stairs to help our mum save our two baby siblings.
"Because of her quick thinking and bravery, the babies were checked over at hospital and were cleared. She is an inspiration to us all."
Ms Catto is asking for donations to help the family but essential living items lost in the blaze
She said: "They need to build their lives back up from now owning nothing.
"Ultimately, my family will need to kit out an entire home when they finally have one."
The appeal has raised £970 so far.
Ms Catto said: "Thank you to those who have donated. I cannot express how much this means to our family as a whole."
