A teen YouTube sensation caused a stampede of fans in a shopping centre.
The corridors of Bluewater were stormed by mostly teenage girls when singer HRVY was spotted on Saturday.
Fans storm Bluewater to meet HRVY
Security had to shut down the impromptu event within minutes of it starting.
HRVY or Harvey Leigh Cantwell is a singer, who is best known for uploading covers of pop songs onto YouTube. He has a single out called Million Ways.
The local lad hails from Hartley and has 4.6 million Instagram followers.
Parents may know him from when he presented CBBC show Friday Download and supported Little Mix on their Salute Tour in 2014.
The 20-year-old planned to go to the Greenhithe shopping centre for an event hosted by JD Sports, however, it was cancelled.
Keen not to let fans down, he decided to host an unscheduled meet and greet instead.
Bluewater spokesman Holly Blake said: "Whilst guests were advised of the cancellation ahead of the event on social media, HRVY’s unscheduled appearance on Saturday proved extremely popular.
"Bluewater’s experienced security team along with on-site Kent Police officers ensured that HRVY left Bluewater promptly when requested as well as safely assisting fans and additional shoppers."
The former Leigh Technology Academy pupil tweeted: "Bro I love you guys, I wish I could of stayed but I didn’t want to get arrested."
Police have confirmed no arrests were made and they were simply assisting Bluewater staff.
Videos have circulated online of girls running through the centre and hoards huddled together, filling the entrance down to the car park.
HRVY also tweeted: "Ok so I got out guys and told I was gonna(sic) be arrested if I didn’t leave I’m sorry.
Quoting an article written by The Sun he said: "We had a fun four minutes".
Lots of celebrities have been spotted in Kent recently, including Ed Sheeran in a chippy and Tom Hardy celebrating his birthday.
