DETECTIVES hunting the killer of a 31-year-old man stabbed in broad daylight in a busy park have issued a fresh appeal for information.
Kamaljit Singh Kolan died in hospital shortly after the stabbing at Gordon Promenade in Gravesend at about 8.15pm on Thursday, July 10.
Earlier police received reports of three Asian men fighting. Officers arrived to find Mr Kolan, from Sidcup, laying in a pool of his own blood at the entrance to Gordon Promenade.
He was taken to hospital but was pronounced dead at about 9.20pm. A post-mortem examination later confirmed he died from a single knife wound.
Detective Chief Inspector Dean Barnes, who is leading the investigation, said: "We believe this incident must have been witnessed by a number of people and we would urge them to contact the police incident room."

Mr Kolan was believed to have both family and social connections in Gravesend.
