A fusion of sounds, sights, colours and tastes will entertain the crowds at the Gravesend Community Mela Festival.

The event will be headlined by multi-platinum Bhangra artist Jazzy B (pictured) and supported by a host of culturally diverse acts including youth steel band Steel Ambition, Anaconda Bellydancers, R’n’B performer Jai Khan and popular Bhangra dance group, Four by Four.

Other local acts taking part include Gravesham’s Olympic legacy dance team, True Kaizen, and Rosherville School Choir.

The festival, organised by Kent Equality Cohesion Council, is free and starts at 2pm on the Riverfront on on Saturday, July 14.
