A Wetherspoons pub in Gravesend was closed after a small fire, possibly caused by a cigarette butt.
The fire in the Robert Pocock, Windmill Street, Gravesend, on Sunday afternoon led to it being evacuated.
Pub manager, Rob Harris said all of the customers and staff were safe.
He said on Sunday: "We did have a small fire so we will be closed for the rest of the day. All of our staff and customers are safe and we are looking to be reopened tomorrow."
It is believed, but not confirmed, that a cigarette butt went into a small hole in the fascia of the building and this smouldered and caught fire.
The pub re-opened on Monday as normal once some emergency repairs had been done.
