FIREFIGHTERS were called to a home in Northfleet after a fire started in its basement.
Two crews from Thames-side fire station and one from Swanscombe went to the property, in Dover Road, Northfleet, at 4pm on Saturday after a series of calls from neighbours reporting smoke issuing from the building.
No-one was injured.
