Firefighters and Kent Police were called to a house fire in the early hours of this morning.

The blaze broke out around the front door of the home in Clipper Crescent, Gravesend at 3.35am.

Two Thames-side fire engines attended and extinguished the fire after 20 minutes.

No injuries were reported but forensic enquires are still ongoing to establish the cause of the blaze.
