Fire at derelict scout hut in Nelson Road, Northfleet

Firefighters were called to a fire in a derelict scout hut in Northfleet.

The building in Nelson Road was found well alight just after 5.30pm yesterday afternoon.

Crews used breathing apparatus, a hose reel jet and main jet to tackle the blaze and remained to damping down the area until just before 7.50pm.

The cause is not yet known.
