A new branch of a growing pizza takeaway chain is set to open in north Kent.
Italian fast food joint, Fireaway is in the process of expanding its number of stores and will open another in Gravesend later this month.
The company, which first launched in London in 2016, now has 80 outlets nationwide and is looking to open 100 by the end of 2021.
It is currently in the process of opening 25 new branches in 25 weeks and will set up another shop in Wellington Street on Tuesday October 19.
Customers in Gravesend will be able to grab a slice of the action from Tuesday October 19 when they can choose from its selection of stone-baked pizzas.
Each offers a choice of four bases, four cheeses, four meats and 20 toppings, all available for the same price.
There's also a range of shakes, wings and dessert-based treats on offer, including cannoli and its unique Nutella pizza.
Fireaways founder Mario Aleppo was first inspired to create a new brand of pizza chains after a visit to Italy where he met farmers who now send him their choicest peeled tomatoes directly from Naples.
He then negotiated with mills in northern Italy who prepare the flour to his own specifications.
These are brought together on a daily basis to ensure freshness and baked for no more than three minutes in 400 degrees oven.
Mario said: “We like to innovate and have also introduced the full range of gluten-free and vegan options to ensure there is something for everyone.”
The new branches are open from 12 noon to 11pm seven days a week and are partnered with Deliveroo, Just Eat and Uber Eats.
Nearby, there are already chains in Bexleyheath, Dartford, Chatham and Rainham.
