Firefighters had to cut a driver out of a car after a crash with another vehicle.

The incident took place in Coldharbour Road, Northfleet, at 6.30am this morning and involved two cars.

A crew from Thames-side fire station used hydraulic cutting equipment to take off doors and the roof of the car to rescue one of the injured drivers.

Both were taken to hospital by ambulance.

Police also attended the scene.
