WOULD-BE homebuyers are being given the chance to take a look at the first residential development in Ebbsfleet Valley.

Visitors to Springhead Park can tour a show apartment and three-bedroom house as well as Penn Green, a landscaped park the development overlooks, this weekend.

The open event runs at the Springhead Road site, jointly developed by Countryside Properties and Land Securities, from 11am to 4pm.

People can also find out more about the shared equity scheme, under which buyers can be offered 100 per cent ownership of a property for 75 per cent of the asking price.

The site will have 600 properties, made up of one and two-bedroom apartments and two, three and four-bedroom houses when it is completed later this year.

One-bedroom apartments start from £93,750 and two-bedroom houses from £185,000.
