Kent Saheli Group will host a Punjabi dance festival in Dartford next month.
The Teeyan celebrations will be held at the Open Air Theatre on September 3 from 12pm to 5pm.
KSG secretary Sandeep Khatkar said: “Kent Saheli Group is proud to announce that we are hosting our first Teeyan event in Dartford based on public demand.
“We were approached by Dartford ladies many years ago to accommodate this festival.”
Celebrations will feature a range of cultural dance performances and songs, as well as music provided by a DJ.
A feast of Indian sweet and savoury snacks will also be on offer.
Teeyan is a monsoon festival originating from Punjab in India.
Every year, it is celebrated by women to reunite with loved ones.
Ladies will dress up in their best clothes, visit family and get together with friends.
The festival honouring sisterhood is hosted annually in Gravesend by the not-for-profit Kent Saheli Group.
Members of the Asian charity participate in various activities together from dance and yoga to badminton.
Last month, the group saw hundreds turnout in Fort Gardens for their sold-out Teeyan festivities.
Following a year-on-year success, the group is looking to expand and host its first celebration in Dartford.
Though it will be a ladies-only event, all women are welcome, regardless of age, disability or race.
The celebrations will be supported by Dartford Borough Council and will be a ticketed event.
It will cost £5 per person to attend and tickets are now on sale.
